Screen Module – Overview

Description

The Screen module provides automated CV analysis, extraction, and normalization of candidate information. It converts unstructured CV documents into structured, standardized profiles that can be searched, filtered, and used by downstream AI-based evaluation — most notably by the Match module.

  • Automates extraction of personal data, work experience, education, skills, languages, certifications, and profile photo from CVs in PDF, DOC/DOCX, TXT, and image formats.
  • Normalizes data using BeTalent's standard taxonomies, so profiles stay comparable regardless of how the original CV was written.
  • Reduces manual parsing effort for recruiters, and supports high-volume candidate pipelines.
  • Supports more objective, content-driven screening by focusing on factual profile data.

How It Works – High-Level Workflow

  1. CV upload — a candidate or HR user uploads the CV, individually or in bulk.
  2. Automated processing — Screen extracts work experience, education, skills, languages, and other attributes.
  3. Normalization — all extracted data is normalized to BeTalent's standard data model.
  4. Structured output — the CV becomes a structured candidate profile, viewable in the platform or consumed by other modules such as Match.

Ideal Use Cases

  • Companies or HR teams managing high volumes of applications.
  • HR platforms, ATS, or talent management systems that need advanced CV parsing capabilities.
  • Recruitment agencies or staffing firms needing fast, standardized processing of candidate profiles.
